Welcome to Northwest Colorado Rural Philanthropy
Days
The Northwest Colorado Rural
Philanthropy Days (RPD) is a collaborative program that
builds excellence among the nonprofit and social service
agencies that support our communities.
We bring more financial support and professional
development opportunities to community, arts, and
environmental organizations in our region of northwest
Colorado (Grand, Jackson, Moffat, Rio Blanco, and Routt
counties.)
Our services feature quarterly nonprofit
development workshops, networking opportunities, and an
event every four years that brings representatives from
Denver and Colorado Springs foundations and nonprofit
and government leaders from our region together for
three days of capacity building workshops and funders
roundtables. This event, coordinated in collaboration
with the Community Resource Center, allows grant seekers
from our region to build partnerships with foundations
based on the front range of Colorado. Our last event was
held in September 2009 in Steamboat Springs. The next
event will be in 2013; site yet to be determined.
