Scholarship Eligibility & Application Information
Application for Scholarship 2009
The Steering Committee of
Northwest Colorado Rural Philanthropy Days is
aware that smaller non-profits do not always
have the financial resources for continued staff
and board training. Therefore, we will be
offering approximately 30 scholarships for up to
$75 each to nonprofits whose total budgets are
less than $250,000.
Guidelines for scholarship
applicants:
-
Organization must be
tax-exempt under the provisions of Section
501(c) 3 or 170(b)(1)(a)(vi) of the Internal
Revenue Code or provide written evidence of
a fiscal sponsorship by such an entity;
-
Total budget must be less
than $250,000;
-
Organizations operating in
more rural settings will be given
preference;
-
Scholarships will be awarded
on a first-come, first-served basis;

Only one scholarship will be
awarded per organization;
-
There are no refunds of
